Background:Patients with erectile dysfunction should be treated with the drug tadalafil (Cialis) to ensure its safety and efficacy.

Objectives:To examine the effects of tadalafil on the sexual activity and the response to treatment with cialis. Methods: The objective was to examine whether tadalafil would be effective when used as a daily therapy for erectile dysfunction in patients with a normal baseline sexual activity. Treatment of erectile dysfunction patients with a normal baseline sexual activity and a response to treatment with tadalafil was performed in the outpatient clinic of a male private medicine practice in the United Kingdom. The study was conducted according to the ethical standards of the Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments. In the control group, the patients were treated with a placebo and the response to treatment with tadalafil was evaluated. Results: There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in the mean scores on the International Index of Erectile Function, the Sexual Function Domain, the Sexual Encounter Profile, and the Sexual Encounter Profile II. Results: The difference between the treatment group and the control group was statistically significant in the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF-EF) domain scores (p < 0.0001), Sexual Encounter Profile (SEP) domain scores (p < 0.0001), and Sexual Encounter Profile II scores (SEPII) domain scores. Conclusions: Tadalafil is a safe and effective drug in men with erectile dysfunction who are not responding to treatment with tadalafil. The use of tadalafil for a daily therapy in men with erectile dysfunction should be considered as a potential therapy in this patient population. The treatment of erectile dysfunction patients with a normal baseline sexual activity may be associated with a response to treatment with tadalafil. The use of tadalafil in patients with a response to treatment with tadalafil should be considered as a potential therapy for erectile dysfunction.

Introduction

Sexual dysfunction is a common condition in men with the erectile dysfunction, and it has a significant impact on the quality of life and relationships. In many countries, the sexual dysfunction is a prevalent problem. This condition is associated with increased risk factors, such as diabetes, obesity, smoking, and the presence of cardiovascular disease. Although some studies have shown that erectile dysfunction can be a marker of cardiovascular disease, little is known about the underlying mechanisms that may contribute to this problem.

The present study was designed to examine the effects of tadalafil on the sexual activity and the response to treatment with cialis. To this end, the patient population in the outpatient clinic of the private medicine practice of the private medicine practice of the University of Pennsylvania was studied.

Methodology

Study design and patients

This study was a single-center, open-label, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, parallel-group, single-dose study involving 100 participants, with an average age of 52 years (range 45–60).
